"Stagecraft!" 22nd march 2009 The Barn Theatre Welcome to the cabaret!
What a fun-packed, entertainment-packed, energy-packed evening!
The
young people of Glow Theatre Group opened their cabaret evening with a
chance for a full audience to watch their swashbuckling tale of
adventure and intrigue on the high seas, as they presented their SCDF
entry, "The Pirates of Penrith!"
This
was followed by a
cabaret of drama, sketches, songs and high-energy dance
routines....from Monty Python-esque performances to Holby City/Casualty
style anecdotes, from a Medieval Help Desk to Leading Ladies and a
crowd of farmers, from glittering bowler hats to dances 'for one night
only', "Stagecraft!" was razzle dazzle from start to finish!
