‘Zoom!’ was a huge success from start to finish, and the children produced some wonderful performances throughout this highly entertaining show.

The audience were captivated from the very beginning, as the tale of the tortoise and the hare unfolded, helped along by witty dialogue, songs performed with a huge amount of energy and enthusiasm, and a number of gags and puns that had the audience groaning as well as laughing! In this rendition of the fable, Harvey Hare was a power-crazed despot with a love of money and an eye on becoming the Mayor of Evergreen Valley, willing to stop at nothing to get to the top, even setting up his rival, Henry Hedgehog, along the way. With the audience firmly on his side, plucky Toby Tortoise stood up to his boss and challenged him to a race, setting the scene for a trail of trickery and intrigue, as all the characters romped through this tale of cunning and courage and saw it through to its heart-warming conclusion.
