Glow Theatre Group is an exciting, independent youth theatre company for young people aged 7–18. For us, it’s about so much more than putting on a show. It’s about giving young people the opportunity to perform, learn, achieve and grow — both on stage and beyond.
More Than Theatre
We provide high-quality theatre training and performance opportunities throughout the year, coaching, nurturing and encouraging every young performer along the way.
Our young actors develop a whole host of skills, from acting, singing, dance and stagecraft to teamwork, discipline, communication and creative thinking. Alongside these practical skills, we work hard to build confidence, resilience and self-belief, while creating a culture based on friendship, respect and empathy.
Because sometimes the most exciting transformation isn’t what happens under the spotlight — it’s the confidence a young person carries with them when they walk back out into the world.

The Glow Journey
Every Glow journey is different.
Young performers begin their adventure in our Juniors Company, progressing through Intermediates and Seniors as they grow in age, experience, confidence and ability.
And we couldn’t be prouder of where some of those journeys have led.
Our former Glow performers have gone on to prestigious organisations including RADA, Mountview Academy, Guildford School of Acting, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Italia Conti.
But success isn’t measured by where someone ends up.
Whatever Their Future Holds…
We are just as proud of the young people who leave Glow at 18 and head into university, a direct career, further training, a gap year or an entirely different adventure.
Because Glow isn’t about creating one particular type of performer. It’s about helping young people become confident, capable and compassionate individuals, whatever path they choose.
And that’s the magic of Glow.

Glow has produced well over 100 musicals and plays, from big blockbuster musicals like Les Misérables, Cats, We Will Rock You, Come From Away and Jesus Christ Superstar to unique performances of demanding and challenging straight theatre such as The Edelweiss Pirates, Everyman and The Heights. Our Glow actors are always working towards their next performance, building skills at every stage of their journey.

Many of our students go on to work in the industry, gaining training places at prestigious schools and universities such as The BRIT School, RADA and GSA, and we have alumni developing careers on both stage and screen. Our actors and creatives have won countless awards and have taken productions to national level at competition.
